Today I have received the very sad news that Bob Todd, Vice President Judo Victoria Incorporated and 7 Dan, passed away.
My prayers and sympathies go out to his wife Betty and family.
He will be greatly missed by the greater judo community here in Victoria Australia and I am sure his passing will have influence much wider than that.
Bob was my First Judo instructor and one of my teachers in secondary school.
He was a great mentor and an excellent friend to have on your side.
I always felt as though he was always pleased to see me as he always greeted me with a smile, I always felt comfortable around him and never felt as if I was putting him out in any way whenever I had a question to ask him.
I will miss him greatly.
